Creating a Tiny Bag End

What can I say about this project. I can say it took me way longer than the others I have done. The intricacies of the flowers and the scale, figuring out how to layer each part properly was challenging. In the end, I really enjoyed creating the flora. The tiny horses were a little over the top and don't even get me started about Gandalf and his cart. But hey, what's Bag End without Gandalf in the distance!

I hope you enjoy it!

Bag End: Inspired by a drawing of this mythical place. As a long time fan of the Hobbit and the Lord of the Rings, this seemed to fit perfectly into the shadowbox series.

Medium: Sculpey clay, recycled satellite mesh, window box frame. Total size 12"x18"

Time to creation - 3 months
